Rauta Christmas Pyramid white: Rauta pyramids are more than festive decorations. They represent craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation. Each piece originates in the heart of Saxony, in the village of Neuhirschstein. There, artisans continue the legacy of Erzgebirge folk art, known worldwide for its wooden Christmas creations.
From the start, Rauta has embraced tradition. However, under the creative direction of Frank Günther, the designs have evolved. He reimagines the classic pyramid using clean lines and minimalist shapes. As a result, the natural beauty of the wood takes center stage. Instead of heavy ornamentation, the focus lies on form, balance, and material quality.
Each pyramid, whether small or large, features fan blades that gently turn with candle warmth. Meanwhile, hand-carved scenes—angels, nativity figures, forest animals, or abstract shapes—add a timeless charm. These designs reflect both nostalgia and modern taste, making them a perfect fit for traditional and contemporary homes alike.
In addition, Rauta selects only high-quality woods. Skilled artisans handcraft every piece with care. Because of this attention to detail, each pyramid becomes a true work of art. More than decorations, they are heirlooms to treasure and pass on.

The story of Rauta began in 1990 when Gabriele Günther officially founded the workshop. Yet the roots go back to 1979, when she and her husband Detlef began crafting pyramids and Schwibbogen in their spare time. Over the years, the small workshop expanded. Today, it supports a team of nine employees who keep the tradition alive.
Now, Frank Günther, a trained wooden toy maker and master craftsman, leads the second generation. His new product line—Edition by Frank Günther—gave the brand a bold, fresh identity. Consequently, Rauta’s offerings have grown from five items to a collection of over 500. Especially during Advent and Christmas, these handmade treasures light up homes with beauty, warmth, and joy.
